Is That So Much to Ask?

Today Sydney had her 9 month doctors visit. Here is how she is measuring up: 28 3/4 inches That puts her at about the 80th percentile for height. She weighs 18 lbs 3 oz, about 35-40th percentile. She's still tall & lean like daddy.
We had to leave to go to Sydney's apt & Ty was not cooperating. He wanted to play with his fun friends, understandably. I asked him, "Do you want me to spank your bummy?". Then his little friends started repeating me over and over, laughing. I don't know if they were teasing me or Ty. I really wanted to laugh, but was trying to stay focused on getting Ty to leave. They are really good kids, they weren't being mean. However, it did make me realize that maybe Ty is getting to big for words like "bummy"...or at least when his cool friends are around.
Too big & too mature. Can't you guys just stay little forever? Is that so much to ask?

Some Good Times in Flagstaff, AZ

One of Buckeye's fabulous farming families let us use their Flagstaff home for a couple days. It was so nice to escape the heat & enjoy the outdoors. The indoors were fun too! The home was so nice, spacious & really fun. Our friend's the Duane's had a family get together in Flagstaff the same weekend, so we swam at their hotel & they hung out with us at the house. The only downside was that I forgot my camera. This is about as good as my cell phone picts get...

Having Fun with the Camera

Considering it was just the kids & I, Syd had just woke up (line on the face & all), a stained up shirt & a Halloween costume....I think they turned out pretty good.

After being at the Wright's home a couple days ago, Ty is obsessed with Kutter's Spider man costume. All morning Ty was begging to be Spider man, so I broke out the Halloween bin. Ty had so much fun dressing up. Thanks sis for all the great costumes!

This is funny to me...See the picture of Sydney where she is sad? See the white line at her wrist? She's tan on her arms & legs, but where her little chub rolls fold together she is still pale. Like her thighs, oh so funny! Maybe this happens to everyone? I don't know I've never had chub. I mean, I've never had a tan. :-)

Are You Crazy?

I have a lot of time these days to listen to morning radio. I've never been a big fan, but this story is just crazy! On KNIX 102.5 Ben & Matt had this shallow high diver on. Here is the blurb from KNIX: From his home in Colorado, Darren 'Professor Splash' Taylor joined the show to talk about his most recent world record for diving from 35' into 12" of water and how he may be performing his death defying feat at the Arizona State Fair!

Photos, Project & the Big Upset

Here are some recent photos I wanted to share. Some side notes: The ones of Jeff & I where taken by Ty. He is an amazing photographer. We are mostly centered & all! The roller skates: Ty is being like Max (Goofy's son) in An Extreemely Goofy Movie. The photo in our bathroom was Ty pretending he was sleeping on his little potty using the rug as his blanket. (Gross but funny)

My Project: My neighbor had a brand new frame out out on the curb for the taking. It has this great 90's photo in it.

I thought, what a great size for our feet picture! So I looked into getting a poster size of our feet picture...about $29.99. Then I turned to the internet & found a site that had posters for $5.69 for a new customer. What a deal! So here is how my super cheap project turned out....

And for the upset. Jeff hates his work phone. It's a great big brick (see photo below). Now I have the same employer. They give me the smaller, nicer flip phone. When I came home with it Jeff was outraged. Now you have to understand, Jeff carries his phone all day, every day & uses it tons. My phone sits next to me in the car 2 days a week. It's got the great walkie talkie feature so I can talk to Jeff with no minutes used. That is about the extent I've used the phone. So, lets take it to our readers: should I switch phones (sims cards) with him in exchange for a 1 hour massage? Place your vote in our sidebar poll.

Nothing a Little Glue Can't Fix

After 2 1/2 fun hours at Peter Piper Pizza Ty took a hit to his noggin. I was sitting at a table with Sydney & saw him crying. I slowly walked over to see a huge pool of blood & Ty's face, hands & feet completely covered in blood. Ryan Wright's mom came over & took Sydney. I rushed Ty into the bathroom to see what was under all this bloody mess. The cut looked so deep. The next little bit was just a blur. Ty was calmly sitting while Tifany cleaned him up & was trying to keep me sane. Being that her daughter (Payton) had just broke her arm, Tifany has some necessary blood-stopping supplies in her purse & fixed Ty right up. Thanks Tifany! You are the best.

And this is when they decided glue would stop the massive out pouring...

So after it was all said & done I thought man, I should have just super glued it. Maybe it wasn't that bad? Then we put Ty to bed & he picked all the glue out! Then the bleeding started again. How could he??? Yes, I was mad after all we just went through together to get the glue on. Jeff took a look at it & agreed that it was a really deep hole. So then, I got my chance to super glue it back together.

I hope I never have to see my kids face covered in blood again. What an awful sight!!
