AZ Grand

Jeff & I just celebrated our 10th anniversary. So hard to believe it’s been 10 years!

We had hoped & dreamed to go to Hawaii, but that didn’t pan out. We still got away though.
Jeff & I headed to the AZ Grand for a overnight get-away. The room was amazing. It was a killer deal through LivingSocial, which included the room, the biggest & best breakfast I’ve ever eaten, $50 toward my pedicure & 4 passes to their water park. We enjoyed dinner at Claim Jumper…my fave. And an evening walk along the golf course & a dip in the spa. (Where I splashed Jeff with cold pool water causing him to rip the back of his foot open…opps!).
Jeff’s parents graciously agreed to keep the kids overnight & then drive them to Phoenix to meet up with us the next morning.
The kids were in heaven when they arrived. There was a wave pool, waterslides, lazy river, sports pool, kiddie pool, splash area, and their favorite the hot pool. Here are some picts:

Kicking Off Easter...

As most of you know...we are moving. I'll try not to go on & on about how much we LOVE this community, Estrella Mtn Ranch. This was our 1st official activity as residents. (I say residence because a large portion of the stuff is already at the new house. The rest to follow this Saturday.)

Ty's 5-6 yr old group for the egg hunt. Do you see how he maximizes & is working the 3rd egg into his little hand? Skills!

Wainting for her turn. Incase the fashion police noticed, this was last year's Easter dress. Her hair is growing, but that's about it.

This is when the bunnies arrived...by golf cart. I have to post this because I made Jeff take my picture, but I forgot to take his. :-(  There is no way my backside would make the family blog...BUT 32 & looking good Jeffrey!

Does everyone have a crazy aunt? There is tough competition for the title, but I think cute little Mia has given it to me. When I prep her for pictures using my high squeeky voice & largely animated face I always get the same reaction...'what's wrong with her?'
... At least now I have something to aim at!
Such a doll! Happy 1st Birthday Mia!!

Princesses on Ice

Every mother's little girl's dream...to dress up like a Princess & see this show! I have been waiting for years. Brooke Jacobson & I gave the girls the royal treatment, getting new matching Rapunzel dresses, Bags & glow sticks. By "royal treatment" I (of course) mean clearance items, I spent a whopping $24.50.  That way we didn't have to fork over $20 at the show for an overpriced glow stick.

 Aladdin

 Sleeping Beauty

Little Mermaid- she was the best Ice Skater

 Snow White

 Ariel

All the Happily Ever After's coming together

Cinderella

This was such a magical night. The girls were so cute & happy. We sat in the 11th row, which was well worth a few extra bucks.  Jeff & Ty can have their annual  Monster Truck show as long as I can take Sydney to the Princesses.

Merry Christmas!

With the busy holiday season, Christmas cards were moved to the bottom of the list.
However, we do want to wish you all a very Merry Christmas! Photobucket
